where we work
Systems We Support
ICMS works with industrial systems and components commonly involved in dust control, material buildup, airflow and material flow.
Silos
Industrial silos can develop buildup around discharge valve. When this happens, material flow can become harder to manage. ICMS provides specialized cleaning and maintenance support to help keep silo cleaner, safer and working properly. Related components may include aerators, level sensors, vent filters, discharge valves.
Key Components
Dust Collectors & Baghouses
Dust collectors and baghouses provide filtration and airflow support in industrial facilities. Issues with filters, bags, or cleaning cycles can reduce system efficiency and impact overall performance and operations. ICMS provides specialized maintenance support to help keep dust collection systems cleaner, safer, and operating properly.
Key Components
Ductwork
Industrial ducts can accumulate dust, become clogged, or show signs of wear. In these cases, airflow and dust collection efficiency are compromised. ICMS offers specialized ductwork inspection, cleaning, repair, optimization, design, fabrication, and installation services to keep ducts cleaner, safer, and in optimal condition.
Key Components
Belt & Screw Conveyors
Belt and screw conveyors move material through industrial handling operations. Buildup, wear, or alignment issues can affect material flow, equipment performance, and overall reliability. ICMS provides specialized cleaning and maintenance support for conveyor systems in facilities where dust and material buildup are part of the operating environment.

FAQ
Frequent Questions from the Field
Common situations our team encounters at industrial facilities. If your issue isn’t listed, contact us directly.
01 Why is dust coming out from the top of my silo?
Dust escaping from the top of the silo usually means the venting system isn’t working properly.
The filters may be clogged, the pulse cleaning system may not be operating correctly, or airflow may be restricted, allowing pressure to build inside the silo.
02 Why can't I hear the silo pulses?
The first thing to check is the compressed air supply. If the air pressure is normal, the issue may be a solenoid valve, diaphragm, timer, or an electrical fault preventing the pulses from operating.
03 Why isn't cement flowing from the silo to the scale or from the scale to the truck?
Material buildup inside the silo, moisture in the cement, a faulty discharge valve, or a problem with the aeration system can all slow down or stop material flow.
04 Why is there so much dust in my process?
Excessive dust is often a sign that the dust collection system is no longer operating efficiently.
Dirty filters, leaking ductwork, poor airflow, or damaged components can allow dust to escape into the process.
05 I'm losing compressed air in the plant and had to shut down the dust collector. What should I do?
If the system relies on compressed air to clean the filters, the air leak should be repaired first.
Running the unit without enough air will quickly clog the filters and reduce performance.
06 My dust collector is running, but I don't hear the pulses. What's wrong?
The fan may continue running even if the filter cleaning system has stopped. Low air pressure, a faulty timer, pulse valve, or an electrical issue are common causes.
07 Why isn't the level sensor (high level) turning on?
The sensor may be dirty, electrically faulty, or damaged. It may also be that the material has not yet reached the sensor.
08 Why is dust coming out from the top of my silo?
Large amounts of dust coming from the blow-off usually indicate excessive pressure inside the silo or that the filtration system is not working properly.
